The Tanzanian Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Cooperatives and the Food Agriculture Organization are the major stakeholders that disseminate major findings for tailored strategies to increase food security in Tanzania. Selected Non-governmental Organizations are additional stakeholders. The table below consists therefore of new project acquisitions that are directly linked to Scale-N as strong collaboration or top-up funding. Or the table shows new partner institutions in Sale-N, which directly contribute as stakeholder to the research design and output; either a work collaboration, joint scientific output or long-term joint activities on capacity building and public relations.

The specific objective of Trans-SEC is to improve the food situation for the most-vulnerable rural poor population in Tanzania. It is designed to identify successful food securing upgrading strategies along local and regional food value chains, , test and adjust them to site-specific, sustainable settings and tailor these concepts to be disseminated for national outreach. During and after the project lifetime, the results can be implemented at different levels of policy, extension and research. |
